Never Settle For Less Than What You’re Worth As An Adjuster

But, be honest about what you’re worth! That’s the message of this week’s tip for the just-starting-out independent adjuster.

Most people become independent adjusters because of the money. They heard you can make a butt-load of money and they want in. It’s understandable. Sadly, after months, they find themselves struggling to make a single dollar with anyone.

Meanwhile, more weathered adjusters badmouth low-paying opportunities. Their cynical comments influence new adjusters to pass on these same opportunities. Not every opportunity is for everyone. If you’re currently doing Postmates and Uber to make ends meet while you wait for your “big break”, you may only be grossing about $100 per day. If you get the opportunity to make $100 per claim doing virtual inspections, an opportunity scoffed by those same weathered adjusters, why wouldn’t you take it?

The moment you handle two inspections in a single day, your per day gross DOUBLES. Who wouldn’t want to make twice the amount they’re currently making per day? And even better..THREE TIMES? Take the time to actually calculate what you’re worth per day and always look to increase that amount — even if the cause for the increase isn’t for everyone.
