It’s Time To Stop Making Excuses

As an adjuster, you are the one that gets to make the rules. 

You will only get as far as you’re willing to push yourself. 

If you think that success is unattainable, then it will be.  Placing the blame on the lack of jobs or zero prospects is only making excuses. 

In reality, you can find success with some of the most basic sales and marketing strategies. You can crack the code without having to do anything fancy. Just put yourself out there, and you’ll see what comes of it. 

 

Don’t Tone It Down

 

It might be tough to get your foot in the door when you are new to the adjusting world. But that doesn’t mean you have to give up. 

If you can’t find an opportunity, you have to make one happen. Amp up the volume and make some noise. People aren’t going to hear you out if you don’t. So, pick up that phone and call around. 

 

Stand Out From The Crowd 

 

The truth is, there are dozens of adjusters out there who also want to make a name for themselves. So you have to stand out. You have to show firms why you’re different from other adjusters. 

How do you prove this? You stay on the lookout. You have to be the one that follows up and constantly puts your name in people’s heads.

So, the next time a job is available, chances are they think of you.  If you do your part and ditch the excuses, you will get farther than you think.
